Police are investigating the theft of a jet ski and trailer from the Burnside Hub Shopping Centre on Wednesday, January 26 about 9am.
It is believed the owner parked his vehicle with the trailer near the Westwood Drive entrance before entering the shopping centre. He returned to find the trailer with the jet ski onboard had been stolen.
Police said the theft occurred in a 20 minute window.
The jet ski is described as a Seadoo RXT with a custom jet ski trailer.
Police are seeking anyone who was at the Burnside Hub Shopping Centre and may have seen anything to contact First Constable Clarice Day at Melton Police on 9747 7999 or clarice.day@police.vic.gov.au.
