A teenager has been arrested in New South Wales as part of an investigation into the death of a man in Melton South last month.
The 17-year-old boy was arrested in St Marys on Friday, January 28, with assistance from NSW Police.
The teen, from St Marys, has been charged with murder after a man was found in Staughton Street, Melton South with life-threatening injuries in the early hours of December 29, 2021. He died at the scene.
The teen has faced a children’s court in NSW and will be extradited to Victoria where he is expected to face a children’s court in Melbourne, police said.
