Melton police seek help in identifying man

Melton police are still seeking assistance in locating a man who may be able to assist in their enquiries into a burglary.

The man arrived at a school in Aintree on October 23 at around 7:00pm in a black Subaru Impreza hatch.

After driving the vehicle onto a dirt track off Elmhurst Avenue, his vehicle got bogged and he spent at least 40 minutes getting the vehicle out.

The man then allegedly forced his way into the main office of a construction company working on the school and stole an array of power tools.

He is described as Caucasian, slim build, wearing orange hi-vis jumper and a black baseball cap.
