The wait is over for Caroline Springs residents with the new Kmart at CS Square opening this Friday.
The CS Square Facebook page posted an update today to say they are “thrilled” to be finally opening the new store.
The store initially had hopes to open on September 30, and then on October 14, but Victoria’s lockdown meant the unveiling was unable to go ahead.
“From homewares to kids and baby, Kmart’s colourful new-look store will have all the great value, on-trend products that you know and love,” the post read.
Kmart in Victoria has been notorious for attracting hordes of shoppers, usually lining up outside the store hours before reopening.
In a previous story from Star Weekly, a Kmart spokesperson said “we are extremely excited to bring this new store to life and look forward to welcoming the community through our doors as soon as it’s safe to do so”.
