Recycled road for Moorabool residents

Moorabool locals will soon be riding down sustainability street thanks to materials being used in the upgrade of a Greendale road.

In a post to the Moorabool Shire Council Facebook page, the council said they would be using recycled material for the Bradys Lane project.

“We are excited to use 100 per cent recycled material eMesh in select areas of our latest upgrades to the concrete footpath and carpark at Bradys Lane, Greendale,” the post said.

“eMesh is an Australian product that recycles plastic to deliver innovative reinforced concrete solutions.”

Landscaping along Bradys Lane will be completed prior to the end of the year, the council said.

The project is part of the council’s “Moorabuild” initiative.
