Community visitors
The Office of the Public Advocate is seeking volunteers in the Melton area to become Community Visitors, upholding the human rights of people with a cognitive disability who are living in supported care. Community Visitors monitor and report on the adequacy of services being provided to residents, talk to residents to identify issues of concern and write a brief report at the conclusion of the visit. Training and reimbursement of expenses are provided.

Darley Community Market is a rubble and riches/flea market style typically held on the first and third Saturdays of the month, from 8am until mid-afternoon. Children’s Week

Shay Downer exhibit
This exhibition will feature the work of Sunbury artist Shay Downer, who teaches drawing classes in the community. As a previous Hume Arts Award recipient, this exhibition will explore the art form of portraiture and will will run from Monday, November 22, to Sunday, January 30, at the Sunbury Hume Global Learning Centre Gallery.
