Melton South is in the box seat after day one of the clash with Williamstown Congs in the Williamstown District Cricket Association.
Sending the Congs in to bat proved the perfect call from Melton, as the Williamstown batsmen struggled to string partnerships together.
The Congs were bowled out in the 63rd over for 154. With 14 overs to navigate before the close, Melton South reached 1-43.
