Reigning premier Bacchus Marsh remains without a win in the Gisborne and District Cricket Association McIntyre Cup after two rounds.
Saturday’s match against Romsey went down to the final over but it was Romsey that got its first win of the season.
Having won the toss, the Bulls made 5-199 from their overs, with captain-coach James Lidgett leading the way.
Lidgett, who came in at 1-15, made 84 as he batted deep into the innings.
It’s his second half century in a row.
It was his Romsey counterpart Ben Way that got his side over the line.
Romsey made the runs with one ball remaining, finishing 5-201. Way did the damage in the final over, with Romsey needing 15 runs off it for the win.
Way finished 79 not out.
It was all single wicket-takers for the Bulls.

In other matches, Diggers Rest remains unbeaten, having accounted for Riddell.
The Burras made 8-184 from their overs, before restricting the Bombers to 125.
Raveen Yasas top scored for the Burras with 38, while playing coach Rasika Batepola took 3-10 off his seven overs.
Gisborne won its second match, beating Sunbury United.
Chasing 6-161, Gisborne finished 2-162 on the back of 88 not out from Mick Allen.
St Anthony’s match with Woodend ended in a draw, with the game not able to be finished.
St Anthony’s made 8-129, with Woodend 1-54 off 13 overs when the match was called off.
In the Jensen Shield, Eynesbury Eagles lost to Diggers Rest Bulla, while Aintree won its first ever match, beating Kyneton.
