Princesses and ladies

Princess Events will host its next Ladies Night Out from 7-10pm on Friday, November 14, at the Absolute Kaos Indoor Centre, 86-88 High Street, Melton. There will be free or discounted tarot readings, massages, make-overs, facials, and more. Tickets cost $20 and must be bought before the night.

Teen screening in Melton

A free screening of young-adult dystopian adventure Divergent will be held for Melton teens from 4-6pm on Thursday, November 6, at Melton library, 31 McKenzie Street, Melton.

Country craft

A wide range of craft goods will be on sale at the Country Craft Market with proceeds going to support Bacchus Marsh Carols by Candlelight. The market will run from 10am-5pm on Thursday, November 14, at Bacchus Marsh village shopping centre, corner of Young and Bennett streets, Bacchus Marsh.

Call for MS support

The Multiple Sclerosis Community Visitors Scheme is seeking volunteers to join its program in the western metro area. Volunteers visit elderly residents in aged-care facilities to offer companionship. If you speak Spanish, Sue Georgiou would particularly love to hear from you.

Embroidery on show

Join Bacchus Marsh Embroiderers at their biennial embroidery exhibition from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, November 22-23, at The Laurels, Main Street, Bacchus Marsh. Entry costs $5. The exhibition runs in conjunction with the Bacchus Marsh Cherry and Strawberry Trail, to be held during the same weekend.

Support group

A six-week support group is on offer for parents and carers dealing with children who are being aggressive. The group meets on Fridays until November 28, from 9.30am at the Melton Youth Facility, 193 Barries Road, Melton.
