Federal Gorton MP Brendan O’Connor has paid tribute to his wife who died on Thursday.
Jodi Dack passed away surrounded by close family, “those who loved her best”, after a long battle with cancer, Mr O’Connor said.
“Jodi was wise. She was strong. She was funny. She was gracious. She was generous and kind. She lived life to the fullest,” he said. “Traits that are so evident in our most precious daughter, Una Rose.”
Mr O’Connor thanked everyone for the “kindness” shown throughout his wife’s illness.
“Her courage and grace in the face of such a formidable illness will never be forgotten by any of us who bore witness to it.
“We will love her and miss her forever.”
