I live in Melton. I moved to Melton for a change.

I moved to Melton around 2010. It’s been seven years here now and I haven’t looked back.

out of Melton South?
The Tribute Show has been running since 2011 and has been going strong. It’s been seen in the United Kingdom and America.
Tell me about the show.
The Tribute Show is a niche show about tribute artists and impersonators. It is hosted by tribute artist Bobby Miller with exclusive interviews by Lucy Holmes Bailey a world acclaimed Kylie Minogue tribute artist. To us, tribute artists are entertainers, so we interview them about their show or upcoming tour. It’s not about one musical genre – our content is broad, tribute bands or artists ranging from artists like Dean Martin, Dolly Parton and ABBA to KISS, Bon Jovi and Kylie Minogue.
What are some of the most memorable interviews and shows you have done.
There have been countless ones over the years. We interviewed all the cast of the top American tribute show Legends In Concert, which had a two-week residency at Crown.
The Australian Bee Gees Show – an inspiration as they were the first Australian tribute act to have a long-term residency in Vegas.
John Blunt, from The Killer Queen Experience in Queensland, who starred and was the first person to portray Freddie Mercury in the BBC worldwide documentary about Freddie.
What other hats do you where in the community?
I have been running a successful music program for the Melton South Community Centre for five years now under my School 4 Rock music school. My partner and I also run a photography and video production service specialising in special needs families. It’s been rewarding and the feedback has been amazing and humbling. It helps people to learn a musical instrument without breaking the budget – and the centre even offers concessions.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I specialise in teaching special needs children music, which is beyond satisfying when you see their smile and enjoyment learning and even looking forward to seeing you. I also teach Greek for Beginners at the Melton South Community Centre and I have also been a songwriter-musician for popular children shows.
What is the best thing about living/working in Melton?
Melton to me is only a freeway drive away from the city via car or train. It also has a pseudo country feel and not too suburban. It’s a great community with a huge potential and a great place to live for your family. Importantly, it has a huge array of childcare and schools.
If you could change anything about the area, what would it be?
Melton is building up at a steady rate, so I would hope a hospital in the near future. More activities and functions for special needs families are needed.
