The Western Flickers Table Football Club will hold its annual major tournament – The Altona Cup – welcoming players from all over Melbourne. All are welcome to watch or try out from 9am-5pm on October 21 at 59 Sunline Drive, Truganina.

Families expo

Central West Shopping Centre will celebrate Children’s Week by hosting a child and family expo 10am-1pm Wednesday, October 25. Activities will include face-painting, balloon twisting, storytime, henna, football and children’s craft. Information about services for families will also be available.

 

Dog days

Spotswood and Kingsville RSL becomes a dog park every Saturday. Head down for a drink while your dog socialises on the lawn. No digging, dogs must be supervised.

Musicians welcome

Do you play bari-sax, percussion, clarinet, trumpet? The Hobsons Bay City Band is seeking musicians to join its community band. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 7.30pm at Newport Lakes Primary School.
