Twilight market

The Manor Lakes Neighborhood market will be holding a twilight market on Friday, October 6 from 5-9pm, at the Wyndham Vale learning and community centre 86 Manor Lakes Boulevard, Manor Lakes. Free entry, food trucks, a variety of stalls, a DJ and free face-painting will be provided. Limited stall spaces still available, $30 each and must have public liability insurance.

Wyndham Relay For Life

Wyndham Relay For Life is a 24-hour fundraising event organised by Cancer Council Victoria and a local volunteer committee. An expo-style launch of the 16th season of Relay For Life in Wyndham will be held at the Hoppers Club, 180 Pannam Drive, Hoppers Crossing on Tuesday, October 24 at 6-9pm. RSVP to:

Graham Fenton golf day

The Werribee Lions club will once again be hosting the Graham Fenton Lions Charity Golf Day. The golf day will be on Monday, October 23 at 11am, at the Werribee Park Golf Club, K Road, Werribee South. A barbecue lunch will be provided, with a 12.30pm shotgun start, followed by a dinner and presentations. Entry is $40.

Cupcake making workshop

The Williams Landing Shopping Centre will be hosting free kids cupcake making workshops in the Kitchen Workshops. Enjoy some school holiday fun by decorating your very own cupcake buddy, creating a piglet, puppy, bunny or cat. No bookings required, located outside Woolworths at the Williams Landing Shopping Centre.

St Vincent’s Hospital open day

To preview the opening of the new Werribee hospital next year, an open day will be held on Sunday, November 26 from noon-4pm. On the day the hospital doors will be open to the community, allowing you to visit the new hospital and have a look at the facilities and wards. Dance performances from local dance schools and a kids activity corner will also be provided. Address: 240 Hoppers Lane, Werribee.

School holiday fun and film

The Werribee Church of Christ is holding two family film and fun days on the Wednesday, September 27 and Wednesday, October 4. Parents are welcome to come along and kids are can bring their footballs, soccer balls and frisbees. A light lunch will be provided. At 200 Tarneit Road, Werribee.
