Oz kids set to shine

Parkwood Green Primary School pupils have been busy little munchkins making poppies and a set of the Emerald city for their upcoming school production.

The whole school extravaganza, Journey Through Oz, hits the stage on November 1 and 2. Pupils have been preparing costumes and sets since June.

Director Jacqueline Hermina said the junior school students had been supported by a dance troupe of their older peers.

“The children are very excited for the show,” Ms Hermina said.

She said there are two casts and all the students play a role in the show. The middle and senior school students have lead roles.

“This is a wonderful celebration of how the school community comes together to tell a story and celebrate our children’s achievements,” Ms Hermina said.

The production will be at the Quin Auditorium, Braybrook on November 1 and 2.
