Calling all dreamers!
Organisers of the annual Melton South Dream Big festival need volunteers to help plan and deliver the popular community event.
Local arts, culture, health, and wellbeing is the focus of the two-day festival, run by Djerriwarrh Health Services and Melton Festival for Healthy Living, to be held on September 15 and 16.
Djerriwarrh Health Service chief executive Andrew Freeman said volunteers are needed to help with everything from setting up tables and chairs, running a barbecue and handing out tickets to putting up signs, taking photographs and helping people to find their way around.
“We are looking for passionate, creative and interested Melton residents to help plan and deliver the event,” he said. “We also encourage local sports clubs, groups and organisations to be involved in showcasing what Melton South has to offer.
“Getting involved in the Dream Big Festival is a great way to connect with others in your community and to learn new skills, where you can help in big or small ways.”
Anyone who has an interest in getting involved can call 9361 9300.
