Rams relish a facelift

The clubrooms at Rockbank Football Sporting Club haven’t a facelift for more than a decade. The kitchen and flooring are old and there’s no heating or cooling.

Club deputy vice-president Simon Vannuccini succinctly describes the condition of the Rams’ rooms at Ian Cowie Reserve: “old and dated”.

Mr Vannuccini said the club was hoping to raise $30,000 to give the clubrooms a “fresh and clean” makeover.

“We’ve got 150 members … so we’re going to have a lot of families using the clubrooms,” he said.

“The fact that we don’t have heating or cooling is an issue. This upgrade will create a safe and clean environment for everyone.”

The club is planning to undertake the upgrades in several stages, with hopes to start the first stage by the end of next month.
