Cycle to your coffee

Car boot sale

Coimadai CFA will be hosting a car boot sale, from 8am-1pm on Saturday, October 22, at the corner of Sundew Avenue and Longforest Road.

 

Community committee forum

Justice Connect will be hosting an information session on what’s involved with establishing a community committee. The session will run from 6-9pm on Monday, October 24 at the Melton library, 31 McKenzie Street.

Family fun

Families are being invited to a ‘family fun day’ on Tuesday, October 25. There will be an animal farm, arts and crafts, sports and more. 10am-1pm, Melton community hall, 232 High Street.

Project workshops

Discover the basics of project management at a workshop conducted by Mark Moore & Associates facilitators, on Tuesday, October 25, 6-9pm at the Caroline Springs library, 193 Caroline Springs Boulevard.

Buffet, broncos to aid charities

Enjoy an evening of harness racing, while raising funds for charities. It’s on Friday, October 21, from 6pm at Tabcorp Park, corner of Ferris Road and Western Freeway, Melton. Tickets cost $45, which includes a two-course buffet and race book.

Fairytale surprise

A free, and special, ‘fairytale land’ for children aged 5-8 will run on Wednesday, October 26, from 4pm at the Caroline Springs library, 193 Caroline Springs Boulevard.

The Melton Cancer Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, from 10.30am, at Melton Health, 195 Barries Road, Melton.

Melton South Community Centre’s term four programs are out now. Classes available include computers, languages, cooking, craft, beauty and first-aid.

A women’s support group meets on Mondays from 1pm at the Melton South Community Centre, 41 Exford Road.

Carer’s support

The Sunrise Carers Group, a social support group for women aged 18-65 who care for someone with a disability, meet fortnightly on Tuesdays from 10am-1.30pm at the Melton library, 31 McKenzie Street.
