Man arrested and charged following ‘erratic’ drive

A 24-year-old Corio man has been remanded in custody, charged with reckless conduct endangering life.

The man was allegedly seen driving a stolen car erratically between Bacchus Marsh and Geelong between 5.15pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Police did not initiate a pursuit.

The Police Air Wing tracked the vehicle to Glenmore Road, Rowsley where it had collided with a fence.

Geelong Highway Patrol members arrested a man in a nearby property.

He has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and multiple traffic offences. He will appear in court at a later date..
