Here’s to never growing up … not anytime soon.

The boy who never grew old, Peter Pan, will be centre stage at Bacchus Marsh theatre next month when the town’s singers, dancers, actors and musicians bring JM Barrie’s 1904 novel to life.

Performing Arts Headquarters is inviting people to join the fun, have a laugh and experience the magical world of Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook.

Musical director John Paul says it has been a great chance for locals to showcase their talents.

The show, at the Impresario Theatre, 5 Grant Street, will run over several weekends, with tickets for the first weekend (August 20-21) discounted.

There will be shows at 1pm and 7.30pm on Saturday, September 3, 7.30pm on Friday. September 9, 1pm and 7.30pm on Saturday, September 10, and 1pm on Sunday, September 11.
