Moorabool council will start work on Caledonian Park in Ballan from next week which will cause some disruptions.

The works include upgrades to the existing gravel path from Blackwood Street to O’Cock Street and from Jopling Street to Simpson Street.

The council took to Facebook to say duration of the works will be 3-4 weeks.

“Every effort will be made to minimise disruption, however some vehicle access to properties may be affected during construction,” the post read.

“Residents will be notified in advance should this need to occur.

“Motorists and pedestrians are urged to approach the area with caution, observe all directions and detour signs to ensure the safety of the public and the construction workers.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and co-operation.”
