Melton businesses that go above and beyond with their service have the opportunity to receive recognition for their hard work, through the annual local business awards.
Nominations for the City of Melton Business Excellence Awards are now open, with residents able to self-nominate or nominate another business they believe is deserving of recognition.
There are six individual categories of awards, recognising creativity, adaptability, diversity, inclusion, sustainability and customer excellence.
The Business of the Year award will be decided by a judging panel made up of the individual category winners.
Melton Mayor Goran Kesic said the awards were a great opportunity to reward a business whose contributions, achievements or outstanding service sets them apart from others.
“We’re looking for outstanding businesses in the City of Melton, those that deliver high quality services or products, go above and beyond for customers and clients, or show great innovation,” Cr Kesic said.
“If you are a business owner, we encourage you to self-nominate. Whether you’re a small, family-run operation, a large, well-established business, or something in between, it’s a fantastic chance to promote your achievements and the everyday services and products you provide to the community.”
Applications close on September 7 and the Awards Night will be on November 25.
