The Werribee River Association is hosting a free online screening of ‘The River Moorabool’ this Wednesday evening.

The film, a collaboration between People for A Living Moorabool and She Oaks Films, details the threats to flora, fauna and the river’s very future due to degradation and climate change.

This screening also seeks to inform and drive community support for a far better deal for the Moorabool River and other waterways in Gippsland and the Central Region, in anticipation of the state government’s discussion paper, due to be released in October.

Hosted by Werribee River Association in partnership with NatureWest and Little River Community Landcare, the documentary will screen from 7pm Wednesday, October 6, followed by a panel discussion and question time.
