Caroline Springs library is closed until further notice due to a positive COVID-19 case attending the site.

On its Facebook page on Thursday, the library has been advised that a confirmed COVID case attended library and civic centre on November 22, 23 and November 24.

As a precautionary measure the facility has been closed to undertake a deep clean.

“If you have been on site this week and have even the mildest of symptoms, we strongly encourage you to get tested,” the post said.

“Melton Library and Learning Hub and the Civic Centre are still open and available for all your library and council customer service needs.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we hope to be back as soon as possible. Please keep an eye out on our website and social media for further updates.”
