Woodgrove will be transformed into a bustling activity hub for youngsters.

A range of activities – as part of Camp Woodgrove – has been organised for the school holidays (September 22-October 7), where kids can get some fun in the sun.

Children aged between five and 13 will be given the chance to complete a range of courses and relay events, including hurdling and gymnastics, by GeckoSports.

There will also be chilled-out activities, including giant chess and colouring in.

The ‘sporting zone’ will run from 11am-2pm, the ‘outdoor games zone’ from 10am-4pm and the ‘teepee chill zone’ during centre trading hours.

Woodgrove centre manager Kylie Robertson said: “Our hope is that kids will get the chance to try their hand at a new sport, gain more confidence in their abilities, and develop a long-standing interest in physical activity.”
